Use as directed Dolphin Clinic Pet Vet Hoof Oil contains,

Coconut Oil, which is high in Omega 3 and 6 fats which nourish the hoof and reduces the likelihood of splits/cracks, and also creates lovely shine for showing application.

Grapeseed Oil, that helps restore and strengthen Keratin (the vital structural protein in strong hooves, hair, nails). Also Grapeseed Oil is high in Vitamin E - a fat soluble antioxidant, essential in the maintenance of hoof structure and vitamin C which helps ensure nourishment deep into the keratin cell structure.

Beeswax, that helps creates a natural waterproof barrier to keep moisture in but does not create an artificial seal on the hoof and also ensures the coconut, grapeseed and palmarosa remain on the hoof for as long as possible.

Palmarosa, that facilitates cell regeneration/new hoof growth and has antibacterial and antifungal properties that helps to treat foot rot and common fungal hoof infections.

Dolphin Clinic Hoof Oil does NOT contain:
Neatsfoot Oil – an animal fat which contains very low levels of Saturated Fat, Monounsaturated Fat, Omega 6 and sodium. So limited benefits.  In most hoof oils the Neatsfoot oil used will contain petrochemicals used as a thinner and therefore offers even less nutritional value.

Stockholm Tar – A pine resin resulting from the burning of pinewood. This offers very little nutritional or moisturising value for the hoof. It does create a waterproof barrier. Numerous studies indicate negative health effects for horse and rider.

Hoof Grease - Rendered down animal fat, bone & offal. Commonly sourced from beef, pork, sheep and poultry. Contains very low levels of Saturated Fat, Monounsaturated Fat, Omega 6 and sodium. Product code: 9421027060760 Cautions
Never use more than the recommended dose. Animals have a better sense of smell than humans. More is not better.  Essential oils are very potent in their pure form.

Take into account the size of the animal—generally smaller animals need less essential oils.

Cats are highly sensitive to essential oils as their liver has a very limited ability to metabolise them. We do not recommend essential oil products are used on cats unless in a very diluted form under professional guidance. Always use in an area where the cat can move away from the smell. Don’t use essential oils directly on their skin without professional advise.

Do not use essential oils repeatedly for more than 10 days.

Always consult a professional if you are in any doubt of the severity of the condition. Ingredients
