Lighthouse Manuka Honey is harvested from the native manuka bush flowers that are only grown in New Zealand, and contains a certified 83+ MGO rating. 

MGO stands for 'methylglyoxal', the naturally-occurring compound that makes manuka honey so special. Both MGO and UMF are trusted manuka honey grading systems, and both measure MGO (methylglyoxal) content. Testing for MGO levels is important as they can vary greatly – not all manuka honey is equal.
