WashBar Paw Balm Kanuka + Repair is a healing and moisturising ointment made with pure essential oils from New Zealand and the Amazon Rainforest.
The combination of oils blended with organic beeswax creates a balm which is ideal for paws which are dry or damaged through hot or cold weather or from cuts or injuries. In the hot summer months surfaces such as asphalt roads, concrete and play areas get very hot. This can cause damage and a great deal of discomfort to your dog’s paws.
It helps relieve the discomfort, repair the damage, moisturise and nourish the skin. Other extreme weather conditions like snow and ice can be just as damaging to paws as road grit and salt can cause pads to become dry, cracked and ultimately infected.
Each ingredient is carefully chosen for its healing properties. Kanuka oil is a natural antiseptic and anti-inflammatory and Copaiba oil is a natural anti-haemorrhagic to help stop bleeding and weeping, and to speed up healing.
Wet: your dog thoroughly down to the skin. Warm water is always better than cold. Pour a little shampoo onto their coat and massage in to work up a good lather all over. Add more shampoo as you need it, depending on size of dog. Give the dog a really good massage, this is meant to be enjoyable.
Rinse coat thoroughly. Dry the dog with a fresh towel, give them a pat and tell them what a good dog they are.
