Metabolic Zone

ADULT: Take two capsules at breakfast and one at lunchtime. If you experience an overly raised metabolism, sleeplessness may result. Reduce dose accordingly. HealthZone Metabolic Zone is a combination of nutrients specifically formulated to support an underactive thyroid with the added nutritional value of nucleic acids and peptides from the pancreas, kidney, brain, liver and thyroid. The thyroid gland secretes essential hormones that control metabolism and the growth and function of almost every organ and system in the body. The influence of the thyroid gland is important, as it affects heart rate, cholesterol levels, body weight, energy levels, muscle strength, conditions of the skin, vision, menstrual regularity, mental state and a host of other conditions. If the gland releases too much hormone, the result is a condition known as hyperthyroidism. If the gland secretes too little hormone a condition known as hypothyroidism is the result. Symptoms can appear quickly or may develop slowly. Low thyroid conditions are epidemic today, especially among women. 
Clinical tests often fail to detect hypothyroidism, even in severe cases. Approximately 40% of New Zealand women have low thyroid function.

Caution: Vitamin E - Vitamin E should not be used when on blood thinning or anti-coagulant medication. Vitamin E supplementation should cease four days before surgery and resumed ten days after surgery.

If, when using Metabolic Zone, you notice a raised pulse and / or palpitations they must stop taking Metabolic Zone until symptoms cease. Start again on a reduced dose (1/2 capsule) per day. Ingredients
