Head / Mental Tension: To aid natural recovery from head or mental tension, rub 1-2 drops to the temples, away from eyes, and back of the neck as soon as possible. This oil is also recommended for hangover headaches.

Travel Queasiness: When travelling, rub 1-2 drops directly onto the solar plexus to maintain natural balance and counter queasy feelings. Or add 1 drop to your tongue, repeat as required.

Congestion Free: Support healthy breathing and help clear congestion by adding 2-5 drops of Peppermint to a steam inhalation and breathing deeply. Repeat every two hours or as required.

Back Tension: To assist natural recovery and help manage tension, add 3-5 drops directly to affected area. Repeat as required.

Deodoriser and Insect repellent: It has a pleasant, refreshing scent and antiseptic qualities that, when diffused, effectively cleanse the air and deter airborne insects. 

Fluid Balance: With fluid balancing support, Lemongrass can be used to help balance fluid accumulation caused by long periods of standing. 5 drops to a foot bath has an added deodorising effect.

Sports Massage: Lemongrass is a great refreshing scent to be added to a massage blend, especially for sports massage as it offers a balancing and cleansing effect. Add 5 drops per massage.

Body Temperature Balance: To support even temperature and help restore natural balance in a heated body, add 5-10 drops of Lemongrass to a tepid bath, or to Sweet Almond oil and rub all over the body, as required. Always consult a health specialist to rule out complications.

Immune System: Lemon oil may be used to support healthy immune function when unwell. Have 5-10 drops diffusing continuously in the home or at the office.

Feet Treat: Rejuvenate tired feet after work by adding 5 drops of Lemon oil and cup of Epsom salts to a foot bath. This method also supports the bodys natural lymphatic drainage processes. Repeat as required.

Circulation: To support healthy circulation and thus help protect against varicose veins, mix 50 drops of Lemon with 10mls of Sweet Almond oil and apply to the affected area daily.

Ant & Fly Repellent: To repel annoying flies and ants add 3-5 drops to a dishcloth and wipe down surfaces. Alternatively, drop some oil in the ants path to discourage their progress. Repeat as required.

Alertness: The vital, clear tones can be used as a wake up to tired senses. Diffuse into your space to create an environment conducive to clear, effective thinking. You can also rub on pulse points or infuse a tissue to promote the same energy shift. Particularly beneficial as a driving companion.

Digestion: This oil supports the healthy production of bile, essential for efficient digestion of fatty food. It can be diffused into a room at mealtime or incorporated into the cooking of fatty foods.

Muscles: Rosemary is an excellent tonic to follow vigorous exercise. It can be used to create a therapeutic bath or diluted for massage.

Uplifting: Grapefruit scent is light and clean and helps to stimulate a lift in the senses. Add a few drops to your diffuser in the morning to embrace the day with fresh, bright energy.

Circulation and Cellulite: Grapefruit has stimulant and antioxidant properties that contribute to a healthy skin dynamic. Add 5 drops of Grapefruit oil to a wet face cloth and rub vigorously on the areas concerned. Repeat daily after a shower for 3-4 weeks.

Fluid: To help stimulate a healthy fluid balance add 10 drops to a foot bath with Epsom salts. Repeat for 3 nights.

Lymphatic System: A professional massage practitioner can assist lymphatic drainage with the cleansing, stimulating qualities of Grapefruit. Add up to 30 drops to Grapeseed oil and apply where the lymph nodes accumulate. Follow with rest and plenty of water to give the body a good flush.

Cellulite & Circulation: Supports healthy circulation and regular waste processing in connective tissue, to benefit areas of cellulite. Massage in 5 drops Cypress immediately after a shower.

Fluid Retention: To aid regular fluid exchange, add 5 drops to a footbath or 10 drops to a bath and soak for 15 minutes every second day or as required.

Temperature Balance: To assist natural balance during menopause, add 5-10 drops in a tepid bath at night. Use regularly.

Emotional Stability: To encourage emotional balance and optimism, or to nurture healthy processing during sadness, add 5-10 drops to a diffuser or bath. Repeat as required.

Insect Repellent: Diffuse a few drops in a diffuser or apply in carrier oil to the skin to repel annoying insects.

Plant Pests: Citronella can be added to a little warm water, shaken vigorously and sprayed on your lettuce to repel pests, repeat 3 days in a row. Totally non-toxic.

Cat Repellent: Spray 20 drops of citronella diluted in 200 ml of warm water where cats scratch or urinate. They dislike the scent and will avoid these areas. It is safe for use on furniture.

Flea Repellent: Add 20 drops of citronella and 20 drops of Eucalyptus to warm water and spray on carpet and furniture. Repeat as required.
