Doesn't taste as bad as expected. Since I have been on the 'intestinal cleanse' plus other Harkers products (Thyroid Balance then 2 weeks later started the Livernurse, Adreal Gland and Lighthouse supplements from week 1) I have gone for long periods of not feeling I was needing to eat anything. It feels like I got rid of those nasty bacteria that just sit in the gut screaming out for unhealthy carbs all the time. As I say I have only being doing this for three weeks so the journey to a healthier body will be a slow and long one but each day is a goal reach. I only take 2x cap fulls a day (am/pm) and I find that this works for me best because I work to a budget. I have no worries in regards to the taste it reminds me of swedish bitters I used to take when I was younger and for me the taste means its more healthy than the 'cream bun' taste which surprisingly enough I dont miss or crave for even when they are around. I do not feel like I have to eat it if anything I go for more the healthy option instead. Drinking plenty of fluids helps also to get rid of the toxins that are being evicted out of the body. Hand on heart, I have never tasted anything so strong and revolting in my life. So be warned. You have to swill this round your mouth for 10 seconds before swallowing and they want you to take 10-20mls of the stuff 3 to 4 times a day - so you could be taking up to 16 teaspoons of this a day. I really couldn't. I am only taking 2 teaspoons twice a day so I don't know if this will help me but I just can't bear to take anymore than that. It stays on your lips, your gums and tongue for a good 15 minutes even after eating something strong tasting to try to get rid of the taste. I am not exaggerating. Please take this into consideration when buying - only buy if you think you have the stomach for it (no pun intended). Thank goodness I only bought the small bottle in the first instance.
