I brought this for use during the birth of my second child (after having a lot of bruising and swelling with my first). It worked a treat and I was much more comfortable post birth. This lives in my handbag and I use it whenever my little girls have any significant ouch accidents (common in preschoolers) and they now even ask for it. Arnica Lotion diluted with 9 parts of water is ideal for use as a wet compress which can be left on overnight under a loose elastic bandage. Follow with "Rest Ice Compression Elevation" for any soft tissue injury. Avoid activity or sport until healing occurs. Exercise that does not stress the injured part, or cause pain, is encouraged.
